Staying at the gatehouse wasn't the most historic experience, and the room felt a bit weary and could do with updating and a thorough clean. However, the service was a gem with very friendly and exceedingly helpful staff. The location, although not the best in terms of fixtures, was pleasant and secure, especially for business in Parktown. The dining options could improve for longer stays, but the food was scrumptious.
